Piano
Kristina Pfeffer studied piano at the Tallinn Nõmme Music School and music theory at the Georg Ots Music College, where she also began playing the organ with Kristel Aer. In 2012, she completed her studies in business law at the Tallinn University of Technology. She also studied organ and composition at the Estonian Academy of Music and Drama in the class of Prof. Andres Uibo from 2010 to 2016 and spent a year abroad in the class of Prof. Hartmut Rohmeyer in Lübeck. She took organ lessons with Echo Klassik award-winning organist Prof. Christian Schmitt in Stuttgart.
Kristina Pfeffer took part in master classes with Guy Bovet, Michael Radulescu, Edouard Oganessian, Peter van Dijk, Martin Sander, Alexey Schmitov etc. She is also active as a composer, has published many of her compositions and won the Composition Prize awarded by the Estonian Society of Church Music in 2013.
Kristina Pfeffer worked as a teacher of music theory and ear training at the Tallinn Lasnamäe Music School and as an organist at the Protestant church in Keila. She was also the concert organist at St. Nicholas Church in Tallinn. She regularly plays concerts in Estonia, Germany, Belgium, Latvia and Switzerland. She frequently performs at major festivals such as the Tallinn International Organ Festival, BachFest Tallinn, Tübinger Orgelsommer, SICG Stuttgart and the Antwerp International Organ Festival.
She works as an organist at the Waldkirche and Gedächtniskirche in Stuttgart. Since October 2022, she has been studying for a Master’s degree in Church Music at the Tübingen University of Church Music.
Since January 2021, she has been directing the pop choir “Cocktail Vocale” in Sindelfingen and from September 2021
she took over the direction of the Sickenhausen/Degerschlacht church choir (Reutlingen).
